Hello and Welcome,

I can sell you on all my professional experience and education, but I prefer to just be "real" with you.   I have my talents, challenges and vulnerabilities, just as you do; I am continually evolving and learning new  ways of working with clients  in order to meet their needs.  I will let you know whether I think I can help you or not. There is no point in spinning wheels, either yours or mine.  We may "click".  We may not.  This is your process and I am here to guide and assist you as best as I can, in whatever way I can.  Any journey can be done alone, but it is usually better when you can share it, especially with someone you can trust and who will leave the judgments behind. and provide safety within the process. 

I am a parent - an adoptive parent and a step-parent. I began as a single parent. Some days are way easier than others, whether that be at home, work or play.  But usually those things that end up being worthwhile take some effort to obtain.  

I am part of a "Multi Family" - multiracial, multicultural, multispirtual.  My family and experiences are diverse by choice and by design.  

I believe in the benefits of diversity and try to relish the beauty of difference and uniqueness.  I live my life and raise my family according to these values as best I can.  That being said I continue to actively challenge my own biases and self-reflect; make changes and adapt where needed and work towards living a more intentional life.  

I believe there is strength in vulnerability. Independence does not mean you are always comfortable in your own skin or that you don't need or value relationships. 

Families should be simple, but they are often soooo complex! They should be safe and reassuring, but they can be the beginnings of anxiety, worry and even trauma;  for both children and adults.  Love does not conquer all.  Families and relationships, of all kinds, require time, care, nurturing and the will to make a difference and be a special part of each person's life. That takes attention, energy and health - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. It involves work and play. We are all on that journey. Connections are never "done".  We are never totally in balance.  The world is ever-changing and so must we change.  Or better yet, evolve; independently and within our personal connections and experiences.

I'm happy to walk with you on your own journey; Whether that be as an individual, within relationships or as part of a family.
